My name is RuthAnn Andersen, and I am so happy to be rejoining the ToFA staff after taking the past year off to help with my parents! I earned a bachelor's degree in Education from Wake Forest University, and taught for seven years in public school (grades K-2) before making the decision to stay home with our two sons, Spencer and Charlie. Since then, I have taught in a variety of settings, including private school, homeschool, and preschool. I have also had the opportunity to tutor many students from Trinity over the past several years! My husband John and I have been married for 33 years, and he has always been my biggest cheerleader and supporter. When I am not in the classroom, I love spending time with my family, reading historical fiction, and fostering (lots of) kittens through Mountain Pet Rescue.
