I am an Asheville, NC native! I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2014 with degrees in General and Adapted Special Education K-12 and a minor in Psychology. I taught in the public school system for many years before taking time off to stay at home with my own children, River and Emmerson, who now attend the Academy with me! I absolutely love getting to be with them every day at school and at home! I have been married to my husband, Kyle, since 2015. In my free time I enjoy traveling to our family beach home in Venice, Florida as well as coaching softball and being an active member of my gym community!
